History: HomePageSource of version: 62 (current)This is the starting point for the wiki
Basically a wiki is a spiderweb of pages of texts that everyone can read and edit (if registered). The spiderweb effect is from the ability to link between the pages link you are used to seeing in web pages. While anyone can read most of the pages, only registered users have the ability to edit the pages (although you may find a few are locked). However, registering is easy and free so please join our community (but please read and follow our ((Posting Rules))) That's right, __you can add information to these pages!__ There are a number of formatting tips for Wiki's but generally you can simply make a new page by editing an existing one and adding text enclosed with double backets. When saved, a new link to a page by that name will be created. Then you simply go to that page and edit it. You can use the quicklinks when you are editing a wiki page insert many of the formatting and you can also use the help button for more info. Additionally, there is a lot of information about page formatting here: [http://doc.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=Wiki-Syntax%20Text] Here is an example of making a page link (you will see it if you edit this page): ((Media Contacts)) !!
